In order for the Beta Foundation to reach its goal of $850,000 for the BLF this year, we brought some healthy competition to Beta's Broad Domain! Each month we challenged a different college fan base to raise their game and support the Beta Leadership Fund like never before. Thankfully Betas everywhere have stepped forward as the Monthly Athletic Challenges raised $85,231 for the Beta Leadership Fund. Below are the fan bases that have been challenged each month and the total dollars raised by each. Click here to see which chapters have been challenged each month. September - SEC Fans: $2,490 raised (Winner: Eastern Kentucky) October - Big 10 Fans: $15,175 raised (Winner: Northwestern) November - ACC Fans: $2,475 raised (Winner: Georgia Tech) December - Big 12 Fans: $29,300 raised (Winner: Missouri) January - West Coast Fans: $1,710 raised (Winner: Loyola Marymount) February - East Coast Fans: $9,402 raised (Winner: Penn) March - Mid-Major Fans: $10,421 raised (Winner: Miami, OH) April - Unsung Hero Fans: $14,258 raised (Winner: Truman State) Even though the Monthly Athletic Challenges have come to a close for this fiscal year, you can still make a contribution that counts towards your chapter's annual totals. In order to reach of $850,000 BLF goal by the end of the fiscal year (May 31st), we need undergraduates, alumni, parents, and Friends of Beta to support the BLF like never before! |
