What is the Sons of the Dragon Club and what is its purpose? The Sons of the Dragon Club is the Beta Foundation's annual giving club specifically for Beta undergraduates designed to create awareness of the mission, goals and activity of the Beta Theta Pi Foundation. Lifelong annual giving to the Beta Leadership Fund (BLF) is the lifeline of the Fraternity's educational activity, and joining the Sons of the Dragon Club is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates to do their part in building a bridge for future generations. How can undergraduates join the Sons of the Dragon Club?Any undergraduate who gives $18.39 or more to the Beta Leadership Fund is a member of the Sons of the Dragon Club for that fiscal year (June 1 – May 31). Contributions can be made online by clicking here or checks can be mailed to: The Beta Foundation - 5134 Bonham Rd – Oxford, OH 45056. The Sons of the Dragon Club is an annual giving club and undergraduates are encouraged to join each year while in college. What recognition occurs for members of the Sons of the Dragon Club?Undergraduates who join the Club by April 1 this year will receive the 2013 Sons of the Dragon Club pocket T-shirt. (available on site at the Presidents Academy and Keystone or shipped in mid-April to your main chapter house address). The 2013 pocket T-shirt is made by American Apparel and has an active Beta Dragon on the front pocket, along with the Sons of the Dragon Club logo subtly printed on the back.
Along with publishing the names of all donors in the Annual Report, the Beta Foundation will also recognize chapters (based on the number and percentage of members in the Club) at the General Convention this year.” Click here for more Sons of the Dragon Club Frequently Asked Questions.
