Chapter Resource SectionTo be successful, every organization needs a management structure to achieve order and efficiency. Chapters function with an executive committee and a cabinet while placing decision-making in the regular chapter meeting. The Executive Committee, chaired by the vice president, includes the top officers of the chapter. Some chapters also establish a Cabinet, which provides chapter programming. The Kai Committee, consisting of chapter members from each class, facilitates brotherhood and deals with internal discipline.
Volunteer Resource SectionsA network of advisors is a chapter resource of inestimable value. These men and women serve as mentors who enrich the intellectual culture of a chapter, assist with the administration of chapter affairs and help instill a sense of lifelong brotherhood and lasting friendships. The resources in this section will help to maximize your potential as a chapter advisor. Likewise, district chiefs are local volunteers who work with assigned chapters and report directly to the general secretary. Their primary duties include appointing and coaching chapter advisors, implementing General Fraternity standards and policies, and serving as the primary General Fraternity ambassador in the district. Many districts include assistant district chiefs who work with one or two chapters.
